From the Kansas City Star:
1) The Chiefs played only the 3-4 defense in the small window of time they practiced as a team during the media-access portion of practice. Todd Haley had indicated the rookies will be taught only a small portion of the scheme and it’s interesting if they’ve only been shown the 3-4.
2) Former Iowa standout Drew Tate joined Chase Patton as the camp quarterbacks. Both are attending on a tryout basis. Tate initially signed with the Rams out of college two years ago and also played for Saskatchewan of the CFL.
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! Drew’s heart was always deserving of at least a shot!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK, DREW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
